Age Suitability
The short version
4thCoach's App Store age rating is higher than the app's own content would suggest on its own. That's deliberate: 4thCoach accounts are for adults only, and the rating reflects who's allowed to hold an account, not just what's shown on screen. If you're looking for why a sports-coaching app carries an 18+ rating, this page explains the reasoning.
Who holds a 4thCoach account
You must be at least 18 years old to create a 4thCoach account. This is enforced by an age check before sign-in — no account is created for anyone who tells us they're younger. There is no separate pathway for a minor to hold their own account with a parent's permission; the account holder must be an adult, full stop.
The young athletes in your clips
4thCoach is built for parents, guardians, and coaches to record and review video of the young athletes in their care. Those athletes — the people you're coaching — don't create their own 4thCoach account, sign in, or interact with the app directly. They're set up as player profiles inside the adult account holder's account, and the account holder is responsible for anyone who appears in the clips they upload. Why the rating is set where it is
4thCoach's actual content — AI-generated feedback on athletic technique — doesn't itself call for a high age rating. The rating reflects the account-holder requirement above: since nobody under 18 can ever create an account, we've set the App Store rating to match that floor rather than leave it at a lower number that would only describe the content and not who's actually allowed to sign up.
